A dark decaf coffee with creme and a packet of brown sugar goes rather well with a slice of lemon chess pie topped with blueberries. Delicious end to a delicious meal.

She sat across the table, stared at the coffee cup. “Hmm. I don’t understand what the point of decaf coffee is.”

An odd stare from the person sitting across from her. “That’s interesting.”

She shrugged, gave a small laugh as she replied. “Well, I drink coffee for the caffeine, so if there is no caffeine, there’s nothing in it for me.”

More laughter. More jokes. More dessert. And more looking forward to many more meals involving decaf and caffeinated coffee all around throughout the year.
